Concern Debate
26th Mar 2024
Bualadh bos mór …
Congratulations to Éadaoin, Cliodhna and Emily who were successful in proposing the motion today that ‘Electric cars are the best way for countries to reduce their emissions.’
Millburn Primary School visited St. John’s this morning to take part in the Concern Debate Final. The girls were successful in speaking with conviction, emphasising key points and using evidence to support their argument. They put forward their thoughts and refuted the opposing teams arguments with proficiency.
Well done girls.
Special mention also goes to our organised Chairperson, Lucia and our timekeeper, Maeve.
Thanks to Amelia, Lauren and Ruth (from Concern) who were our adjudicators.
