Dad and I took part in the Balmoral Show this year. We have a herd of pedigree Limousin cattle and I have a show heifer called Pointhouse Jewel. She will be one year old on June 6th.
The show lasts for three days and on Wednesday morning we were up early to get Jewel groomed ready for the show. I had to put on a tie and my white coat.
My tummy was jumping all over the place. The show started at 10.30am.
I was in an interview for the Balmoral Show website. Just then, Jewel was being taken out to be shown at the show green.
Jewel walked very well and the judge then put us in first place.
Jewel went on to win 'Junior Best Heifer' and 'Junior Reserve Limousin'.
I had a great week in Balmoral Park and I hope to be back next year!
