Literacy - we talked about about the pumpkins and discussed how they felt and described how they looked. We talked about where we see pumpkins and what they are used for.
Numeracy- we counted the pumpkins and talked how many we could see just form looking at them. We put them in order of their sizes and discussed their weight.
Art- we did still life drawings, drawing what we could see. We sketched carefully using pencil then used oil pastels to add colour. The little artists focused on line and how to use light and dark to enhance their work.
We are looking forward to becoming scientists and investigating the insides of our pumpkins.
